Shawn is a Physical Therapist and Clinical Director for Thrive Rehabilitation. He earned his doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Michigan-Flint, and his bachelor degree in biology with a pre-medical concentration from Olivet College. Shawn has specialized in orthopedic injuries. He is a certified clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association.

Prior to joining Thrive Rehabilitation, Shawn worked for five and a half years as a Therapy Director for multiple facilities. He gained experience in treating both acute and chronic orthopedic injuries such as low back pain, disc herniation, and ligament strains. His experience also includes rehabilitation from auto accidents, pre and post surgical conditions, work place injuries, slip and falls and sports injuries.
